« la P’tite Kepa Homestay » is situated on the small magic KEPA island, in the middle of Pantar Strait, the heart of Alor archipelago. Just five minutes by boat from Alor Kecil village, on Alor main island west coast, this is a central place to explore Alor islands and its dive sites.

The homestay is located on the nothern coast of Pulau KEPA, where you can enjoy the fantastic scenary of Pulau TERNATE, BUAYA, PANTAR, PURA and ALOR.  (see map)

The bungalows have been built like a traditionnal village, with Alorese style houses made of bamboo, coconut trees, and thach covered, inspired by our respect for local culture and natural environment.

Five of them are built on one floor, with a nice terrace looking towards the sea,...

Four others are built like the traditionnal huts of the mountain tribes, have a "360° view" first floor, and a bed-room under the roof.

For ecological and functional reasons, 2 of the one-floor bungalows have attached  "mandi" (indonesian style bathroom), and the others have separated (4 shared mandi). 

Freshwater is fetched from Alor Kecil village for showers (of course there is freshwater !...), and seawater is used for sanitation system. Alor-Pantar's strait islands regularly suffer from aridity and water is a fundamental issue. We appreciate that our guests are aware about the limited ressource as well as the supply work!

Laundry service is available, or you can do it by yourself at the well of Alor Kecil village.

Two new bungalows have been built in 2010 to offer more confort and suit to families. More spacious, with a 180 cm double bed and 2 single beds which can also be used as sofa, indo-occidental style bathroom (not yet hot water! outside temperature), 220V power available to charge your equipments or use your laptop independently (also from solar panels), a working table and large terrasse with the unique view and the perfect spot for Kepa's sunset ...  For all that we call them "exclusive".

We use solar pannels to provide energy. Light is available 24 hours. 220V is available in the exclusive bungalows, and for the others which are just supplied in 12V lighting, there is a terminal in the restaurant room for your electronics (until 20:00 to save solar-filled batteries) and we also collect your batteries to charge them in the village. 

While the organic wastes feed goats and chicken or are composted, bottles and cans are sent to recyclers, the garbage left is burned in a home-made incinerator with neutralization of smoke’s acidity. But still, let's minimize our wastes production!

We serve Indonesian meals with the (famous !) ”La P’tite Kepa’s” touch, elaborated by our first class cooks Bibi Nene and Bibi Yati. You will enjoy our dishes of freshly caught fish, (only sometimes farm chicken or duck, because we don't want to buy from industrial poultry),  various vegetables, salads, toffu or soya cheese (tempe), "sambal" (peppers sauce served separatly!). 

The meals are made with local, fresh and seasonal products, avoiding imported goods. Almost every meals are served fruits although local production is very limited : bananas, papaya, also watermelon/ oranges/ pineapple/ manggos/jambu while it is season.

Lunch and dinner are shared all together ("table d'hote"), breakfast as well as tea/coffee are in self-service.
