Accommodation
« la
P’tite Kepa Homestay » is situated on the small magic KEPA
island, in the middle of Pantar Strait, the heart of Alor archipelago.
Just five minutes by boat from Alor Kecil village, on Alor main island
west coast, this is a central place to explore ALOR islands and the
dive sites.
The homestay is located on the nothern coast of Pulau KEPA,
where you can enjoy the fantastic scenary of Pulau TERNATE, BUAYA, PANTAR, PURA and ALOR. (see map)
The bungalows
have been built like a traditionnal village, with Alorese style
houses made of bamboo, coconut trees, and thach covered, inspired by
our respect for local culture and natural environment.
Five of them are built on one floor, with a nice terrace looking towards the sea,...

The four others, built like the traditionnal
houses of the mountain tribes, have a "360° view" first floor,
and a bed-room under the roof.

For ecological and functional
reasons, 2 bungalows have attached "mandi" (indonesian style
bathroom), and the 7 others have separated (4 shared mandi).
Fresh
water is fetched from Alor Kecil village for showers (of course there is freshwater !...),
and seawater is used for sanitation system. Alor-Pantar's strait
islands regularly suffer from aridity and water is a fundamental
issue. We appreciate that our guests are aware about the ressource as
well as the supply work!
Laundry service is available, or you can do it by yourself at the well ofAlor Kecil (special place for cultural exchange!)
We use solar
pannels to provide electric-light. For
electronics or batteries, we collect what you need to charge (generally after the dives) and it is done during the night in Alor
Kecil village where there is 220V supply. Then you have your equipments
back at sunrise! we also have small solar panel you can use for small
equipment or handphone charging.
While the organic wastes feed goats and
chicken, the rubbishes are burned in a 'home-made' incinerator, not
high-tech but with a neutralization system for smoke’s acidity.
But still, let's minimize our wastes production!
The meals are made with fresh and seasonal products. We prefer local farming products than imported goods.
We
serve Indonesian Alorese food with the (famous !) ”La
P’tite
Kepa’s” touch, elaborated by our first class cooks Bibi
Nene & Mama Maria. For sure you will enjoy the various served
dishes of freshly caught fish, farm chicken or duck, vegetables,
salads, toffu or soya
cheese (tempe), kassava, seasonable fruits, ...
Lunch and dinner are shared all together, and breakfast is in self-service.

Then... enjoy the view and the breeze,
seated on the new terrace of the restaurant!
