Alor is an hidden paradise for marine
biodiversity. You can meet the best coral formations and the richest
underwater life in the Alor-Pantar strait.
With its volcanic origin, Alor offers a wide
variety of dive sites, nearly limitless ; some outstanding walls, rock
slides, valleys, seamounts, pinnacles, and unspoiled coral reefs.
Surrounded by clear water, the visibility can reach more than 40
meters, with a temperature of 28°C
The dive sites are chosen according to
currents, drift and static dives are possible.

Alor got a real good
health reef : fishermen here are mainly using sustainable fishing
practices (lines, bamboo traps,...), and offers a great diversity and
density of sealife.
A few dive sites are renown for big fish (schools of big eyes jack, dog
tooth tunas, some sharks, giant groupers, Napoleon wrasse, eagle rays
or occasional mola-mola, ...). But you will be impressed by the
rich concentration of invertebrates, anemonas or hard and soft corals,
and the variety of critters.

The
Dive sites are reachable in 5 minutes to 1H30 from Kepa. We
generally organise 2 dives per day, but 3d dive or night-dive can be
arranged. In addition, shore dives are also possible for qualified
divers at tank cost (5 euros). 1 up to 3 dive guides (maximum 4/5
divers per group) will show you the most exciting jewels of Alor!
